Scenic drives throughout Newport

Various Mansions of the Preservation Society of Newport County

This tour is often combined with some short scenic driving.  We will then visit the two Vanderbilt Mansions (the Breakers and Marble House) and any other mansions of interest.

Driving Tours of the Battle of Rhode Island

This is a driving tour of Aquidneck Island to see many of the actual battle sites and memorials of the Battle of Rhode Island and includes a complete description of its historical importance.

Scenic Tour Along Cliff Walk

After a short drive from downtown Newport and a brief history of the town, we will walk along the Cliff Walk and hear stories of the Gilded Age.  We could then tour Newport’s biggest mansion, the Breakers, and drive back to downtown Newport.

Driving Tours That Include Stop At Local Winery

Besides a trip to one of the local wineries, this tour can include scenic driving, historical walking, and/or a mansion.

Historical/Colonial Walking Tours of Newport 

This includes exploring downtown Newport and many of its historic sites such as Trinity Church, Colony House, Touro Synagogue, Rochambeau’s headquarters, the Vanderbilt Hotel and much more.

Driving tours that include a stop at an Antique Car Museum

This includes visiting one or two Antique Car Museums along with a scenic drive of Newport, historical walking, and/or a mansion.
